My Hair Oil Favorites

For the longest time, I avoided hair oils.
I thought my naturally oily hair would rebel against them, leaving me looking like I had just stepped out of a fryer. Plus, options were limited, and most of the ones I tried felt heavy and sticky.
Thankfully, the hair oil game has evolved, and I’ve found some gems that have completely changed my mind. Here’s how I rank them:
1. GISOU HAIR OIL
This one is a total game-changer. Honestly, I didn’t expect to love it as much as I do—maybe the hype had me skeptical—but it completely lives up to it. Just a tiny drop is enough to transform my hair. Softness, shine, and a touch of luxury all in one little bottle. It feels almost magical every time I use it, and I keep finding myself reaching for it even on lazy hair days. If you’re hesitant, trust me: this one is worth every penny.
2. KAMICHA
Kamicha has a charm of its own. It’s lightweight and versatile, which is perfect for my unpredictable hair moods. Some days, I treat it like a mask before showering; other days, it’s just a quick nourishing touch. The dropper can be a little finicky at times, but that’s a minor flaw in an otherwise solid product.
3. SERAPHINE
I want this one to love me, really I do. The scent is sweet and comforting, and the packaging is absolutely gorgeous. But my hair and Seraphine haven’t quite hit that perfect harmony yet. I’m planning to experiment by pairing it with a hair mask soon to see if that makes a difference. Even though it’s not my favorite at the moment, I still appreciate its elegance and the little spark of hope it brings to my routine.
Hair oils aren’t what they used to be—they’ve become luxurious, light, and surprisingly effective. If you’ve avoided oils like I once did, it might be time to give them another shot; sometimes, the right one can completely change your hair game.
