The finish is smoother and more refined, like it’s meant to sit in place with intention. When I wear it, it doesn’t feel like I’m just putting on lipstick; it feels like I’m completing a look. The red itself has that polished depth that makes everything else feel slightly more elevated, even if the rest of the makeup is minimal.

Red lipstick doesn’t have to mean the same thing every time. Sometimes it’s part of a routine, sometimes it feels like a moment. Having both of these in my collection makes it easier to move between those moods without forcing anything.
