Brown lipstick has become one of those things I didn’t think I’d love at first, but now I reach for it more than I expected. It feels simple, a bit warm, and somehow makes the whole look more put together without trying too hard.
I’ve been rotating between two that give very different finishes and moods.
1. Sunnies Face Fluffmatte
This one feels soft right from the first swipe. The texture is lightweight, almost like nothing is there, but the color still shows up nicely. I like how it gives that blurred, “lived-in” lip effect without much effort. The brown shades in this range feel modern and easy to wear. It doesn’t look harsh or heavy, which makes it perfect for everyday use. I usually reach for this when I want something low-maintenance but still polished enough to look intentional.
2. About-Face Lipstick
This one feels more bold and modern. The texture is creamier and a bit more expressive compared to the first one. When I apply it, the color payoff feels stronger right away, more saturated and noticeable. I usually go for this when I want a more styled look. It doesn’t feel shy on the lips—it shows up clearly and adds more attitude to the face overall.
The finish leans more smooth than fully matte, which gives it a slightly edgy but still wearable feel. It’s the kind of lipstick I pick when I want my makeup to feel a bit more intentional.
Both brown lipsticks give a different kind of energy. Sunnies Face Fluffmatte feels soft, blurred, and effortless, while About-Face feels bolder and more defined. One is for easy days, the other for more intentional moments, and having both makes switching moods really simple.
