Eyeshadow Made Easy

Eyeshadow is one of those parts of makeup I used to overthink, and then later realized it actually works best when I don’t.
The moment I stopped treating it like something complicated, I started enjoying it more—just picking tones that match the mood of the day rather than trying to “perfect” anything.
1. Sand Hill Eyeshadow
This one feels very grounded in its tones. The shades lean earthy and soft, the kind of colors that don’t try to dominate the look. I like using it when I want something quiet on the eyes—just a bit of depth without drawing too much attention. It blends into the skin in a way that feels natural, almost like it was always meant to be there. On low-effort days, this is the kind of palette that makes everything feel effortless without looking unfinished.
2. MAKE UP FOR EVER Mini Artist To Go Eyeshadow Palette
This palette feels more flexible and a bit more structured. The shades are compact but well thought out, so I can shift between something simple and something slightly more defined depending on how I apply them. I reach for this when I want a bit more control over the eye look, especially if I’m going out longer or just want the makeup to feel a little more intentional. It still stays easy to use, but there’s more room to shape the result.
Having both options makes things easier rather than more complicated. One keeps it natural and soft, the other adds a bit more structure when needed. And somewhere between those two, the routine stays flexible and still feels like my own.
