Blush used to be the step I skipped the most. I didn’t really get the point of it—until I found shades and textures that actually changed how my makeup looked, not in an obvious way, but in a “something feels right” kind of way.
Now it’s one of those steps I look forward to, especially when I’m choosing between these two.
1. Kusuma Balm Blush Seruni
This one feels personal in a way I didn’t expect. The balm texture makes it easy to work with, especially on days when I don’t want a full, structured makeup look. I usually tap it on with my fingers, and it blends in almost effortlessly. The shade itself leans soft and natural, like a gentle flush rather than a bold statement. What I like most is how it melts into the skin—it doesn’t sit on top or look separate. It’s the kind of blush I reach for when I want everything to feel simple and unforced.
2. Inglot Face Blush 30
This one has a completely different energy. It’s more of a classic powder blush, and I notice the difference right away when I use a brush instead of my fingers. The color payoff is stronger, so I tend to go in lightly at first. It gives more definition to the cheeks, which I appreciate when I want my makeup to look a bit more polished. There’s a certain confidence in how it shows up—it doesn’t disappear into the background, but it still stays wearable.
I don’t really see them as competing products. It depends on the mood I’m in. The Kusuma balm blush fits those easy, everyday moments when I’m not trying too hard, while the Inglot blush comes out when I want a bit more structure. Having both makes my routine feel flexible, like I’m not stuck in just one style.
