Eye Makeup Essentials!

Hi Girl! There’s something about a good eyeshadow palette that just changes the whole makeup mood. Even if everything else is simple, the eyes can pull the entire look together in seconds.
I’ve tried a lot of palettes over time, but these three stand out because each one gives a completely different vibe — from soft luxury to warm everyday glam.
Here’s how I personally rate them based on performance, feel, and overall worth.

YSL Couture Mini Clutch / Eyeshadow Palette #100

Price: around $69–$75
I like this palette when I want my makeup to look clean and put together without too much effort. The shades are soft and easy to blend, and I don’t have to think too much when I use it. It gives me that subtle polished look, like my makeup is there but not trying too hard to be noticed.
The shimmer shades are what I enjoy the most — they give a gentle glow on the eyes that looks really pretty in natural light. I usually reach for this on days when I just want to look fresh and simple, like errands, coffee runs, or casual outings.

Tom Ford Eye Color Quad #31

Price: around $95–$128
This palette feels very luxurious to me, even just holding it. I don’t use it when I’m in a rush — I use it when I want to slow down a bit and enjoy doing my makeup. The shades are soft and elegant, and they blend into a very refined finish. For me, it’s more about the experience than intensity.
I like how it gives a subtle, smooth look instead of anything bold. I usually reach for this when I’m going out somewhere a little special, or when I just want to feel a bit more “put together” in a quiet way.

NARS Quad Eyeshadow – Copper

Price: around $55
This is the palette I honestly use the most. I don’t even think twice about it anymore — I just grab it. The copper tones are warm, flattering, and very easy to work with. I can do a quick eye look in a few minutes and still feel like I put effort into my makeup. I like that I don’t need anything else with it. It works on its own, which makes my routine faster and simpler. On busy days, this is the one I trust the most because I know it will never disappoint me or look messy.
If I’m being honest, I don’t treat all three the same. YSL is what I reach for when I want soft, effortless beauty. Tom Ford is when I want a slower, more luxurious makeup moment. And NARS Copper is the one I actually rely on in real life the most because it’s easy, warm, and always works.
