Sun Protection Care!

Do you know, Lykkers? Sunscreen is honestly one of those skincare steps I refuse to skip now.
It took me a while to find formulas I actually enjoy using every day, because if a sunscreen feels heavy, greasy, or leaves a white cast, I know I won’t stay consistent with it.
So today I’m comparing two sunscreens I’ve been using in my routine lately. Both are popular, both are affordable, but they feel quite different on the skin.

1. Skin Aqua UV Super Moisture Gel SPF 50+ PA++++

This sunscreen is one of those classic, reliable formulas that just works. The texture feels lightweight and spreads easily across the skin without too much effort. When I apply it, it absorbs quite quickly and doesn’t leave a heavy or sticky layer, which makes it great for daily use. I also like that it feels comfortable under makeup and doesn’t interfere with how foundation sits on my skin.
It gives a natural finish — not too matte, not too shiny — just a balanced, everyday skin look. For me, this is the kind of sunscreen I reach for when I want something simple and dependable.

2. Wardah Bright-C Hydrating Sunscreen Serum SPF 35 PA+++

This one feels more like skincare and sunscreen combined. The texture is more serum-like, so it feels a bit more hydrating compared to traditional sunscreens. When I apply it, my skin immediately looks a bit more glowy and fresh. It gives that dewy finish that works really well on days when my skin feels dry or dull.
Since the SPF is slightly lower than Skin Aqua, I personally think it feels more like an indoor or light-activity sunscreen. But I really enjoy how it makes my skin look more radiant and healthy.
Both sunscreens work well, but I use them in slightly different ways depending on my day. Skin Aqua is my go-to when I want stronger protection and something super easy to wear, while Wardah Bright-C is what I reach for when I want extra hydration and glow.
