Current Mascara Favorites!

Lykkers, mascara is honestly the one makeup product I refuse to skip. Even on lazy makeup days, adding mascara instantly makes me look more awake, more alive, and slightly more put together than I actually feel. A good mascara can completely change the vibe of your face within seconds.
But finding the right one? Weirdly difficult. Some mascaras smudge everywhere, some make lashes look stiff and crunchy, and others disappear the moment your eyes get watery. After testing a lot of them, these are the two mascaras that genuinely earned permanent spots in my makeup bag lately.

1. Loreca Moussecara — The Soft Fluffy Lash Mascara

The first time I used Loreca Moussecara, I immediately noticed how lightweight it felt on my lashes. Some mascaras make lashes feel heavy after layering, but this one gives a softer fluffy effect instead. My lashes still look lifted and defined, but without that thick stiff feeling that sometimes becomes uncomfortable after hours of wear. What I personally love most is how smooth the formula applies. It separates the lashes nicely without creating too many clumps, so the final result looks more clean and airy instead of overly dramatic.
This is usually the mascara I reach for when I want my makeup to feel fresh, soft, and effortless. It gives that naturally pretty lash effect — like your lashes just happen to look good on their own. I also appreciate that it builds nicely. One coat gives a lighter everyday look, but adding another layer creates more volume without making the lashes look messy.

2. Somethinc Hangover Mascara — The Long-Lasting One

This mascara seriously surprised me. The first thing I noticed was how well it holds the lashes throughout the day. My lashes tend to lose their curl pretty quickly sometimes, especially during humid weather, but this mascara keeps them lifted much longer than I expected.
The formula gives more definition and intensity compared to Loreca Moussecara. My lashes instantly look darker, sharper, and more noticeable after only a few swipes. What I love most is the staying power. Even after long days outside, the mascara still looks neat without smudging everywhere under my eyes. That alone already makes me trust it way more for busy days or events.
Honestly, it depends on the kind of makeup mood I’m in. When I want softer natural-looking lashes for daily makeup, Loreca Moussecara is usually my first choice because of how lightweight and fluffy it looks. But if I need my lashes to survive long hours, humidity, or a full day outside, Somethinc Hangover Mascara immediately wins because of the stronger hold and longer-lasting finish.
