No More Dry Lips!

Welcome, Lykkers! Lip balm is one of those tiny things I always forget about until my lips start feeling a bit dry, then suddenly I’m obsessed again.
I don’t really overthink it—I just want something that feels nice, smells good, and actually keeps my lips comfortable through the day.
Recently, I’ve been switching between two lip balms and ended up noticing they each have their own personality in my routine.

1. Rich Glen Strawberry Lip Balm

This one feels like comfort in a small tin. The strawberry scent shows up first—soft, a little sweet, nothing overpowering. I like that it doesn’t try too hard. When I apply it, it melts in a way that feels smooth and familiar. Not glossy in a flashy way, more like a soft shine that makes my lips look naturally cared for.
I tend to reach for it at home or before bed, especially when I want something simple that just keeps things comfortable overnight. It gives me that “everything is okay” feeling, even when my lips have been through a long day of talking, coffee, and air conditioning.

2. Amaterasun Lip Balm

This one feels more like a daytime partner. There’s a practical side to it that I actually appreciate—SPF in lip care makes me feel a bit more covered when I’m out and about. The texture is lighter compared to the first one, and it sits neatly without feeling heavy. I usually apply it before heading outside, especially when I know I’ll be under the sun for a while.
It doesn’t scream for attention, but it does its job quietly in the background. What I like most is that it feels clean and functional, like it’s made for real daily movement—walking, commuting, grabbing coffee outside, all of that.
I didn’t expect to rotate lip balms, but it just happened naturally. The strawberry one stays on my bedside table, while the SPF one lives in my bag. One feels more like comfort at home, the other feels like protection when I’m outside. I don’t really compare them anymore because they fit different parts of my day.
It’s funny how something so small can feel like a mood switch—soft care versus practical shield. I’ve learned lip balm isn’t just lip balm. It’s one of those little habits that quietly follows your lifestyle.
