Nail polish, for me, has never been just about color. It’s more like a small way to shift my mood without changing anything major. Some days I go for something subtle, other times I want a shade that quietly stands out.
Over time, I’ve found a few favorites that each bring a different kind of feeling.
1. Liberation Nails Golden Hour
This shade reminds me of late afternoons when everything looks a little warmer. It has that soft golden tone that catches the light in a way that feels effortless rather than flashy. I like wearing it when I want something that looks polished but not too serious. It pairs well with almost anything, which makes it one of those shades I keep coming back to without thinking too much.
2. Gabriel Velvet Blue / Shimmer
This one feels a bit more expressive. The blue has depth, and the shimmer adds a subtle movement when your hands catch the light. It’s not overly bold, but it definitely has personality. I usually reach for it when I’m in the mood for something slightly different, something that doesn’t blend into the background. It’s the kind of color that makes me glance at my nails a little more often than usual.
3. Colour by TBN Tosca
Tosca sits somewhere in between calm and playful. It has that fresh tone that feels clean but still interesting. I like how it gives a neat appearance without feeling plain. On days when I want my nails to look put together but still have a bit of character, this is the one I tend to choose. It’s simple, but not forgettable.
4. Chanel Le Vernis PIONNIÈRE
There’s something about this shade that feels more refined. The color leans warm and rich, giving a slightly deeper look compared to everyday neutrals. When I wear it, it feels a bit more intentional, like I’ve put extra thought into the details. It’s not loud, but it carries a certain presence that makes it stand out in a quieter way.
Nail polish is such a small detail, yet it somehow ties everything together. Whether I’m choosing something soft, bold, or somewhere in between, each color reflects a different side of how I feel. And that’s what makes it enjoyable—it’s less about trends and more about those little choices that feel right in the moment.
